Hello, I'm Sibel Kaçar
I am a researcher and practitioner working in educational technologies and learning experience design. My work focuses on building bridges between technology and pedagogy, combining design and technology to make learning more effective, accessible, and meaningful.
I particularly work on educational games, learning analytics, and explainable AI (XAI). I research how emerging technologies like VR and AR can be used in education, and I strive to understand whether these technologies truly add value to learning processes.
Disaster Academy is a platform I developed for learning analytics and XAI research in disaster education; it aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience and analyze learning processes. My goal is to produce solutions that are not just "flashy" but pedagogically meaningful and truly helpful to students.
