Question 1 / 3

School was reminding everyone to wash hands. Lara's friend said "I don't feel well today." Lara asked: "Why are so many people sick?" Her teacher said: "Sometimes germs spread fast. That is called an epidemic period. Wash your hands. Tell someone if you feel sick." A scary video was circulating in class. The teacher said "look at the school rule, not that video." "Being sick isn't shameful. Telling is brave. We don't hug everyone while sick." Lara wrote this in her mind: Epidemic = wash hands, tell if you feel sick.

What is an epidemic period in the story?
