Question 1 / 3Different types of disasters occur in our world. Knowing all of them helps us stay safe. **Earthquake:** Caused by the breaking of rocks underground. The ground shakes, buildings can be damaged. In an earthquake, we apply the "Drop-Cover-Hold" rule. **Flood:** When too much rain falls or snow melts, water overflows. Low-lying areas can be submerged. To protect from floods, we move to higher ground. **Fire:** It is uncontrolled burning. It can start in homes, forests. In a fire, we immediately leave the building, we don't use the elevator. Each disaster is different but the common rule in all: stay calm and apply the steps you learned.
