Question 1 / 3Monitoring weather conditions is very important for being prepared for disasters. In Turkey, the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) publishes weather forecasts. Warning colors: Green = Normal, Yellow = Be careful, Orange = Be prepared, Red = Danger! Before a storm, the sky darkens, wind increases and humidity rises. When a heavy rain warning is issued, stay away from stream beds and do not go to basements.
